Wedding photography | Bruidsfotografie Den Bosch

What a super day! I am writing my blog in English this time, since I had the honour of being the wedding photographer of this lovely couple from Chicago, United States. They have been living in the heart of Den Bosch for several years and are getting married now in the beautiful St. Jan’s Kathedraal.  The hairdresser, hotel, cathedral, restaurant and reception venue were all situated within 100 meters distance of each other in the centre of Den Bosch. Ideal for the guests and me of course. We started the day at Rob Peetom Hair &Make-up across the street from the hotel. When the bride went back to the hotel to relax before putting on the dress, I went to their apartment were the guys were getting ready. Ironing shirts, havin’ a break, play videogames, chill, listen to ‘wedding music’, eat worstenbroodjes (you sure are going to miss them guys) and make preparations for the day. After a short walk it is time for the father of the bride to walk his daughter down the aisle of the cathedral. An aisle I guess few guests have ever seen before. After the beautiful ceremony we went for a shoot around the cathedral and enjoyed the stunning view from all the way up. Then it was time for drinks and dinner at Pilkington’s,  again across the street. After dinner, the wedding reception took place at the Orangerie. No one could imagine they would be blown away twice one one day, but this venue is simply WOW. After the traditional american opening with the father of the bride- and mother of the groom dance, the couple opened the dance floor. With the bride and her sister as true dancing queens, the party hit off immediately. Well… just see for yourselves and enjoy!

Dear bride and groom, thank you so much for having me as your photographer and I wish you and your family all the best!
